Tomorrow's Cures for Liver Disease Need Funding Today

Since 2000, we have provided more than $50 million to advance liver research and advanced hepatology training opportunities. This represents the largest single commitment of funding in support of liver research and advanced hepatology training by any professional organization.

Your donation to the AASLD Foundation directly supports liver research and advanced hepatology training.

Invest in Tomorrow's Cures for Liver Disease

Ensuring tomorrow's cures for liver disease and securing the future of the field is no small task. Every AASLD Foundation award is a substantial expenditure – and rightly so, because the fight against liver disease is expensive. Unfortunately, this means we traditionally are only able to fund 30 to 45 percent of our annual meritorious applicants. That’s a tremendous gap – and one that we can do something about – together. With every donation we will be one step closer to ending liver disease in our lifetime.

Your donation to the AASLD Foundation will help:

  • Fund new and innovative liver research
  • Foster increased access for a growing number of liver disease patients to adequately trained hepatology providers
  • Encourage young investigators to pursue careers in liver research
  • Support advanced hepatology training for front-line providers

We welcome your gift of any amount to support the work of AASLD Foundation , and your generosity will bring us one step closer to finding more treatments and cures for liver disease. Learn ways you can give.
