Senior Manager, Membership

AASLD, an association for scientists and health care providers in the field of liver disease, is seeking a membership professional to manage Special Interest Groups (SIG) leadership, marketing products, and events, membership recruitment, and the development of new products and services.

The role of Senior Manager, Membership will oversee established special interest groups activities. The manager is responsible for actively participating as one of the key points of contact for SIG leadership, marketing SIG products and events, SIG membership recruitment, and the development of new SIG products and services.

The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, is flexible, driven, innovative, highly organized, and a versatile self-starter with outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. The position requires a minimum of five-plus years of professional experience in volunteer/committee management, membership engagement industry for a professional society or association. Some travel is required.

Director, Online Education

AASLD, an association for scientists and health care providers in the field of liver disease, is looking for a detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and advanced knowledge/experience in online education program development and implementation and adult learning best practices.

Responsibilities include development and implementation of an online education strategy along with maintenance and implementation of processes and policies related to continuing education. Applicant should have 5-7 years of nonprofit or corporate online education planning experience along with familiarity with the ACCME Accreditation Criteria, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Some travel is required.
