Special Interest Groups (SIG) and Committees were created to further enhance AASLD’s collaboration of Scientists and Healthcare professionals from a range of disciplines who share common specialized interests in the field of hepatology.

Communication from the leadership of each SIG/Committee to its numerous members insures that the true spirit of collaboration is taking place. To enhance this collaboration, AASLD has launched websites for each SIG/Committee.

These websites will not only allow SIG/Committee Chairs to communicate with their Steering Committees, but all SIG/Committee members will be able to interact with leadership and other members. Discussion forums, document libraries, and calendar of events are just part of the websites. As you meet with your respective SIG/Committee, please discuss the types of utilities and workstyles you would like to employ to achieve your goals, and please share those ideas with your chair or AASLD staff.  Thank you.
